Many webmasters these days are making an absolute fortune promoting forex affiliate programs by means of using their Website. As there are so many people now wanting to make money online with forex affiliate programs it has grown extremely competitive and difficult to rank website for particular Forex related terms.
In order to assist the ambitious Forex affiliate webmaster I have decided to draft an article of some basic rules that should be followed when planning to make a Forex affiliate website and some SEO (search engine optimization) tips to ensure success.
1.) Keyword Research:
Use Google AdWords keyword tool to search for a search term that gets a fair amount of traffic - although forex trading is a niche you should try find phrases or keywords that get above 1000 searches per month, also try not target keywords that get very high search volume as these keywords are very competitive and will be nearly impossible to rank for in search engines.
2.) Choose a domain name:
Once you have picked a keyword that you are going to target, select a domain name that is keyword rich (has the keyword that you are trying to target), try keep the domain name as short as possible and if you can ensure that you get a TLD (top-level domain name) such as ".com", ".net" or ".org"
3.) Title and Meta tags
Once you have set up your domain name, set up you website theme, I use WordPress and Joomla for many of my site. These CMS (content management systems) are really great and easy to modify and come with lots of support and plug-ins. Ensure that your Title tag "
4.) Original Content
According to Google - Content is King - so ensure that your website has completely original well written content on it. Your content should focus around the Forex term you have chosen and the keyword density should not be more than 3%. The website content should focus on either education or the benefits for the potential target audience.
5.) Link structure
Make sure that the keyword you are targeting is hyperlinked somewhere on the page.
6.) On-page factors
Ensure that the keyword is included in the H1, H2, H3: be careful not to force optimize by making the H1, H2, H3 directly after one another. Keep the structure H1, content (keyword in that content), H2, content, H3, more content.
Ensure the keyword has the bold attribute
Ensure the keyword appears in Italics somewhere on the page
Ensure that keyword appears in quotation marks somewhere (possibly a testimonial, as testimonials are seen as authorative).
I hope these simple tips for SEO of your potential Forex affiliate website are helpful and you are successful with Forex affiliate programs. To see more advance tricks and tips you can visit my website.

Advanced Forex Affiliate Investing And Success
Many people join Forex affiliate programs with the intention to make money, as most new ventures 90% of people lose interest or tend to fail, and the fortunate 10% tend to make a total success of the venture. Forex affiliate programs are no different, there are huge amounts of money to be made promoting the Forex market and Forex trading.
This article will highlight some of the key issues you should watch for in measuring and tracking the success of your efforts with Forex affiliate programs in terms of profit:
Treat Forex affiliate programs as a business:
With a business you will have budgets, so set yourself a budget for promoting Forex affiliate programs: money can be allocated in various forms such as: website development, paid search, Search engine optimization, hosting for your website, content writing, etc. All these costs must be considered when planning your Forex affiliate business.
Measure your success:
After your first few months you will have a bit of data to do more advanced budgeting and decide at what scale you would like to grow your Forex affiliate income.
The crucial data you will need in order to make sound investment choice with your new venture will be:
Total number of clicks
Total number of sign ups
Total amount spent
Total income generated
It is a good idea to spread your initial start-up costs over the whole year (divide by 12) so that you can have a clearer idea if you are profitable or not.
I will use an example to explain the concept:
After 3 months you spent a total of: $1000 for website, SEO, PPC campaigns, content ect
and you generated 500 clicks to your affiliate program, and out of those 500 clicks you had 25 customers that signed up and deposited, and for each of those customers you earned $100 CPA (cost per action), thus making your total affiliate income $2500
Now that you have this information you can start making very detailed business decisions, as now you know some key ratios such as:
Cost per click (total expenses divided by total clicks)Income per click ( total affiliate income divided by number of clicks)Profit per click ( profit divided by number of clicks)
So from this example you can see this program is working out to be profitable, as profit per click equal to: (($2500 - $1000)/500) = $3, from this you can conclude that can spend anything below $3 to generate a click to your Forex affiliate program and you will be profitable. This is important to know especially if you are using paid search
